The third edition of 'Tribute to Claudia' - International Gourmet Festival will be held from January 10th to 18th, 2009 at the hotel and restaurant Vila Joya, an ARTEH(R) Hotel in Albufeira - Guia in the Algarve, Portugal.
'Tribute to Claudia' is the greatest, and without doubt the most important gastronomic event ever to have taken place in Portugal, exclusively produced and organized by Vila Joya.
For eight evenings, the kitchen of the resident Chef Dieter Koschina, with two stars in the Michelin Guide, will host some of the most resounding names in the world of gastronomy, all of whom have been distinguished with stars in the Michelin Guide. Each will present their auteur menu, with at least seven courses along with suggestions for wines to pair with the dishes.
The hotel and restaurant is managed by Joy Jung, the daughter of Claudia (the soul and mentor of Vila Joya), and Gebhard Schachermayer. It is them, together with the master host Dieter Koschina, who are coordinating this event.

Day 12 - Koschina and Friends (a luxury evening with the usual gathering of stars, in which the many guests of Dieter Koschina, usually Chefs from previous editions, cook one menu).
Day 13 - Jacob Jan Boerma, 2 stars on the Michelin Guide.
Day 14 - Thomas Bühner, 2 stars in the Michelin Guide.
Day 15 - Marc Meneau, 2 stars on the Michelin Guide.
Day 16 - Nils Henkel, 3 stars in the Michelin Guide.
Day 17 - Andoni Anduriz, 2 stars in the Michelin Guide.
Day 18 - Juan Amador, 3 stars in the Michelin Guide.
