    Amelia Island Plantation is a Four Diamond destination island resort in Florida. Located on Amelia Island, Florida, just 29 miles north of Jacksonville International Airport (JAX), the 1350 acre property overlooks the Atlantic on the east and the green marshland and Intracoastal Waterway on the west.

    Amelia Island Plantation is preserved since 1971. The developers of the resort included Charles Fraser and the Sea Pines Company of Hilton Head, South Carolina and Ian McHarg of the firm Wallace, McHarg, Roberts and Todd.

    The resort offers 249 luxury hotel rooms, one, two and three bedroom villas, golf and tennis courts, a Health & Fitness Center, shops, boutiques, restaurants and bars.
