HARS signs 11 New Client Contracts worth over $650,000 |

CALGARY, Jan. 11 /CNW/ - HARS Systems, Inc. (HSS-CDNX), through its
wholly owned subsidiary VIP International Corporation, announced the signing
of 11 new hotel client contracts. These 11 contracts represent a total of 21
hotel properties in Canada, the United States, Argentina and Brazil, and add
over 5500 additional hotel rooms to VIP International's global portfolio. The
21 hotel properties represent approximately in excess of Cdn $650,000 in
revenue annually to VIP International over the first year of the contracts.
Agreements were signed with L'Hotel du Vieux in Quebec, Canada; Huber
Development Ltd's six Prestige Inns in British Columbia, Canada; the Riviera
Hotel & Casino and The New Frontier Hotel & Casino, in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA;
three TradeWinds Island Resorts on St. Pete Beach, Florida, USA; Country
Suites by Ayers in Mission Viejo, California, USA; Grand Boulevard Hotel and
Hotel Cuatro Reyes in Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Park Lane Hotel, Westside
Suite Hotel and four Estanplaza Boutique Hotels in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
According to VIP president, Kelly Blake, 2001 looks to be a promising
year for VIP International. In addition to our other recent client contract
announcements, these 11 new agreements represent VIP's push to expand in the
geographical areas where we see the opportunity for increased revenue,
comments Blake. We are extremely pleased with our current progression in the
tourist destinations of Las Vegas, Florida and California, the cosmopolitan
centers of Argentina and Brazil, and in our own Canadian backyard.
VIP International, through its partnership with SynXis Corporation, will
provide all 21 hotel properties with enhanced travel agent global distribution
services (GDS), using SynXis Agent(TM). SynXis Agent(TM), is a web-based
reservation system that allows single image, real-time inventory to all
booking sources, and ensures seamless connections to all four major GDSs,
which include Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre and Worldspan. This connection offers a
property extensive exposure to over 600,000 travel agents and travel planners
worldwide.
In addition to GDS connectivity, VIP will also provide strategic
marketing support and direction combined with comprehensive Internet
distribution through sites like Travelocity.com, Priceline.com, Microsoft's
Expedia.com and through VIP's own proprietary site, CarsAndHotels.com.
