Site features enhanced functionality and sophisticated design
Fabtex, Inc. is pleased to unveil its updated and greatly enhanced web site at www.fabtex.com. With the dramatic evolution of Fabtex in recent years, the web site better reflects the higher level of sophistication of the company's fabricated products and fabrics.
'Our goal was to develop a web site to project the updated image for the company and to incorporate greater functionality in order to accommodate broader marketing objectives,' according to Brian Coughlin, Vice President of Fabtex. 'The site was designed to be used not only as an information source, but also as a time- and cost-saving tool for customers and Fabtex sales representatives.' For example, the Fabric Selections area of the site makes it easy to view available fabrics, expedites the fabric selection and sampling process and is expected to reduce sampling costs. Another section allows the customer to preview Fabtex Bedding and Drapery Collections with similar functionality and ease.
The site will also provide an excellent platform from which to introduce new fabric collections such as the Genesis Fabric Collection by Fabtex which will be introduced at the HD Expo in May. With over 200 SKUs, Genesis will be the largest Fabtex fabric collection to date.
The Genesis Fabric Collection by Fabtex is revolutionary because it reflects a new direction for the company. 'Specifically designed and manufactured for hospitality use, the fabrics are yarn dyed (versus printed) 100% FR polyester, providing an incredibly soft hand and a higher level of sophistication and dimensionality,' according to Coughlin. 'Many of the collection's bold patterns and colors are reversible, enhancing the creative opportunities available to designers.' The fabrics have a look and feel similar to imported Italian fabrics, but at a more affordable price.
Currently the Fabtex Symphony, EuroFive, Metropolis and Tropics Chenille fabric collections are available in the Fabric Selections area of the site. The new Genesis Fabric Collection will be available in March and other enhancements, such as specific hotel programs and products will be added throughout the year. In addition, the site features a link to the Fabtex Project Tracker, a proprietary system that allows customers to track their orders online 24/7.
