The new entertainment panel boasts Bluetooth technology so guests can stream music and audio selections from any A2DP-stereo-enabled device through the in-room TV and sound system, without wires, a first in in-room entertainment for the hospitality industry.



The MediaHub HD is an all-in-one connectivity panel that moves the guest's personal content to the in-room entertainment system, personalizing the in-room entertainment experience for the guest. The world is witnessing a paradigm shift in guest entertainment, with the Internet playing a lead role in TV show, movie, video and game downloads. Bluetooth technology built into the panel means guests with A2DP¬enabled devices like an Apple MacBook(R), a Blackberry(R) PDA or other A2DP-stereo-enabled portables can pair their device with the in-room entertainment panel to stream music and audio through the TV speakers, without having to physically connect the device with a cable. MediaHub HD also features a single HDMI back-end cable, which means only a single HDMI port is required on the TV. Installation is notably simplified and less expensive.

The American Hotel & Lodging Association reports that in-room entertainment ranks number two in hotel amenity importance, just after Wi-Fi availability.
