(NYSE:WYN) has launched new Web pages on its job recruiting Website (www.wyndham-recruiting.com) to support former employees in locating new employment opportunities outside the company. The website is a resource for recently furloughed Wyndham employees as well as past employees whose jobs were permanently eliminated this year due to the slowing economy.
The Web pages were designed with two purposes in mind: to pass along job leads, both hourly and management levels, with various local and national employers; and to provide career advice on such topics as how to write a resume, how to interview, how to negotiate, and how to utilize the Internet and online employment boards. The pages will evolve as the needs of its audience change.
One of the hardest business decisions a company has to make is furloughing or laying-off any of its workforce, stated Fred J. Kleisner, chairman and chief executive officer for Wyndham.
