Commonwealth Hotels Names Vice President of Business Development

    Commonwealth Hotels, Inc. today announced that Brian Fry has been appointed the company's Vice President of Business Development.

    Mr. Fry will direct all areas of business development focusing on third party management contracts, strategic acquisitions, and joint-venture partnerships. "We are confident that with his unique combination of experience and skills, Brian will lead our growth efforts and be an outstanding addition to our exceptional Commonwealth team," said Dan Fay, President, Commonwealth Hotels.

    Mr. Fry has over 25 years of experience in the Hotel Industry, including over fifteen years with Hilton Worldwide and Promus Hotels in franchise development, finance, and hotel operations. Prior to joining Commonwealth Hotels, he most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of GS Development; owner and operator of seven Hilton and Marriott family hotels. Mr. Fry earned an undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from Emory University.

    Commonwealth Hotels currently manages over 2,100 rooms with 8 more hotels under development or construction.
