NEW YORK --- Best Manufacturing LLC is launching a new in-stock line of apparel targeted at the lodging/hospitality industry, including a comprehensive selection of front-of-house and back-of-house items from hotels and resorts, restaurants, cruise lines and gaming establishments. It is the first introduction of new products since the company acquired H.W. Baker Linen Co. in 2002 and formed a new hospitality division. Baker will distribute the new apparel items bearing the Best brand.

With decades of experience in the manufacturing of stylish, high quality apparel to the textile rental, healthcare, image apparel and hospitality industries, this extension of what Best does best should come as no surprise, said Donald Hymans, Baker Linen's president and CEO. This new full-service product line is designed to suit a wide range of staff working in almost every service, operations and guest contact position. Whether in a hotel, casino, spa or on a cruise ship, companies throughout the U.S. and Canada will now be able to dress their staff in the Best.

Best's new apparel line comes as lodging and gaming establishments compete for today's travel and entertainment dollar fully aware that marketplace image is all important. Attention paid to every detail is key to ensuring the best possible guest experience. Hotel and casino staff impressions and image play an important role in driving consistent customer satisfaction. Associates need to look and feel their best. Wearing garments that fit and feel great has a positive affect on attitude, which in turn extends to how staff interact with customers. Our product line was developed with this in mind, as reflected by the emphasis we put on the comfort and fit of the apparel, said Larry Newman, vice president of hospitality/lodging.

The new product line features front-of-the house garments made of a luxurious wool blend and available in all core colors and silhouettes. The highly durable tailored clothing is machine washable, or can be dry cleaned for easy care. Dress shirts and blouses provide a professional and stylish look, and can be easily accessorized with an extensive line of ties and scarves to complete a truly fashionable ensemble.

Best's products for food and beverage staff are uniquely designed to meet every need, for fine dining establishments as well as more casual all-day dining venues. An appealing line of cotton twills, banded collar shirts and a vast array of polo shirts are available as well as pleated service pants and shorts and a full line of colorful aprons in assorted styles to guarantee a comprehensive product line from top to bottom.

Housekeeping, maintenance and engineering uniforms also have been designed with quality and durability in mind, including Jr. Cord fabric for housekeeping garments, which set the industry standard for comfort and durability. Maintenance uniforms are tough and rugged, and come in an array of colors.

Known industry-wide for an outstanding line of kitchen apparel, outfitting food preparation staff is what Best does best. From a classic double breasted cloth knot chef coat to a chalk striped baggy chef pant, the product line concentrates on what makes staff look good, letting them concentrate on making the meals taste great.

Invigorated by its new product line and confident that customers will respond eagerly, Best Manufacturing is making new catalogs available to all customers immediately through its new hospitality division, H.W. Baker Linen, and The Hospitality Depot. Over the years, Best and Baker have provided everything but the kitchen sink, said Hymans. Our sales associates are more excited than ever to be able to now offer an even broader line of products than before, from bed linen to table linens, terry products to pillows, room essentials to bathroom amenities and now a complete line of apparel. Baker is now able to offer its clients a range of products covering their every need and reflecting a true market basket approach.
