Nexus today announced the launch of GroupworX 7.0, a major new system release designed to deliver more Meetings, Incentive, Conference and Event group business to hotel partners.
Nexus’ GroupworX 7.0 stores comprehensive details about hotel meeting facilities – including images and floor plans – and enables potential clients to send leads to specific hotels based on criteria such as location or meeting room capacity. Proposals can be quickly delivered back to clients either online or using a number of printable formats via the GroupworX response tool. Hotel meeting packages are stored in the system to facilitate fast responses.
The system is versatile enough to be used by centralized hotel group sales desks to send leads to multiple properties; for one hotel to send a lead to another, or to be connected with the hotel group’s own web site for clients to send requests direct to property. GroupworX also carries a full range of account management tools to track client activities, manage contacts and monitor key performance indicators – such as ‘speed of response’ - through dashboards and reports.
Says Geoff Andrew, Nexus’ Managing Director: “The Nexus system has always been about helping hotel sales teams to sell. We’re now in a position to offer hotel groups the right tools to develop all segments of their business and the introduction of GroupworX 7.0 is a big step forward. It’s also the first of a number of new Nexus initiatives we’ll be announcing this quarter.”
