  • Best Western Best Western International’s North American office today announced that members of Best Western Rewards, the company’s global frequent-stay program, can donate Rewards points to disaster relief efforts underway in Chile.

“We are saddened to see the devastation of this latest natural disaster, and are giving our loyal guests the opportunity to show their generosity during this critical time” Rewards program members can go to www.bestwestern.com/chilerelief to donate in 4,500-point increments. Every 4,500 points equals a $15 donation to World Vision, Best Western’s official charity partner.

“We are saddened to see the devastation of this latest natural disaster, and are giving our loyal guests the opportunity to show their generosity during this critical time,” said David Kong, president and CEO of Best Western, and current chairman of the American Hotel & Lodging Association.

Best Western has five hotels in Chile, including three in Santiago, one in Punta Arenas and another in Vina Del Mar. None sustained major damage, and all are fully operational.
