  • AH&LA May 12 Webinar Answers Questions About New Healthcare Reform Law

The American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) is hosting a free Webinar on May 12 to explain how the new $940 billion healthcare reform law passed by Congress last month will affect lodging businesses.

The “Healthcare Reform and Lodging: What Now?” Webinar from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. EDT on May 12 is the first briefing by AH&LA and its experts from the law firm of Seyfarth Shaw on this important business topic.

    AH&LA’s healthcare experts will discuss:

    •  How the new healthcare reforms will affect your business’s daily operations
    •  How you can expect your healthcare costs to change
    •  What steps you will need to take this year and by 2014 to be in compliance with this new Federal law

The experts will also be available to answer participants’ questions after the Webinar.  Questions on everything from pre-existing conditions to mandated coverage changes are encouraged.

This free Webinar is an exclusive benefit for AH&LA members.  The Webinar is also open to non-members for $99.  To register, visit the “Healthcare Reform and Lodging: What Now?”  Webpage at www.ahla.com, under “Convention and Events.”

This Webinar is the first of a number of new Web resources about healthcare coming in the weeks ahead from AH&LA.

An information-packed Website about what the new law will demand from all hospitality employers, especially those using temporary or seasonal workers, will be launched in the coming weeks on the AH&LA Website.
