Barbados (Dec. 12, 2002) - - Elegant Hotels Group, one of the Caribbean's leading hotel companies has announced the promotion of Cheryl Kasprzycki to the position of Director of Sales and Marketing, North America. Prior to this appointment, Kasprzycki was the company's Sales Manager for the Northeast region, USA. In her expanded role, Kasprzycki will be responsible for driving business to Elegant Hotels' six distinctive beachfront hotels in Barbados which include The House, Colony Club, Tamarind Cove, and its three all-inclusive properties Coconut Creek, Crystal Cove and Turtle Beach.
A well-known face in the travel industry, Kasprzycki spent her first 13 years as a travel agent based in the Connecticut area before starting her own multi-line company, Multi-Reps International. For 14 years she was the driving force behind this successful enterprise which represented a prestigious group of clients including Hertz Car Rental, Inc. American Travel Abroad, Barbados Tourism Authority, Ritz Carlton Hotels and Mexicana Airlines.
She will remain based the company's New York office.
Elegant Hotels Group is not related to Elegant Resorts, the tour operator based in the UK.
