Starwood Hotels Sells Doubletree Hotel Minneapolis for $47 Million |

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 20, 2002--Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE:HOT) has sold the Doubletree Hotel Minneapolis Airport at the Mall to the Metropolitan Airports Commission for $47 million.
The sale closed today. Starwood will continue to manage the hotel on behalf of the new owner.
The 321-room hotel is located five minutes from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport, 10 minutes from downtown Minneapolis and Saint Paul and walking distance to the world famous Mall of America.
