Fabtex Introduces Two Colorful Collections

Fabtex introduced two new collections at the HD Expo - Genesis Bedding by Fabtex™ and the Windward Sheer Collection by Fabtex™.  Both collections bring color, pattern and texture to hospitality guestrooms.  

GENESIS BEDDING by Fabtex™ 

Genesis Bedding products are created from the bold colors and large patterns of Genesis Fabrics by Fabtex™, 100% FR polyester yarn-dyed fabrics.   The bed coverings and window treatments in the collection have an incredibly soft hand and high level of sophistication and dimensionality.  The fabrics are specifically designed and manufactured for hospitality use and are 118” width for seamless finished products.   Many patterns are reversible, adding even more opportunities for contrasting color themes. 

WINDWARD SHEER COLLECTION by Fabtex™ 

This new collection brings color and pattern to window sheers, providing a unique accent to guestroom draperies.  The 77 sheers in the collection are designed to be paired with draperies in the Genesis Bedding and other proprietary Fabtex collections, to enhance guestroom design.  All are manufactured in 118” widths.  According to Brian Coughlin, Vice President of Fabtex, “Our new collections allow hotels to stay current with style and color trends by doing a soft goods renovation, breathing new life into guestrooms at an affordable price.  As a guide, hotels typically  update bedding every 4-5 years and draperies every 7-8 years.”   Coughlin predicts that as the economy improves, hotels will move away from the white bed, which is difficult to maintain, into colors and patterns that liven up guestrooms.  Fabtex has also improved and simplified the process of getting order status updates with its proprietary Fabtex Project Tracker 2.0, which allows customers to track their orders online 24/7.  The updated system is more user friendly and technological advances provide multiple options for sorting information and viewing order status.  Fabtex has been an innovator in hospitality bed coverings and window treatments since 1986, making it easy and affordable to create beautiful guestrooms.  Their specially engineered 118” width fabrics enable the fabrication of seamless finished products, providing cost savings and enhancing product appearance.   Customers can choose from existing Fabtex bedding and drapery collections or specify custom fabricated solutions for unique bed coverings and window treatments.
