New guest room décor packages for Marriott Hotels & Resorts: Refreshing Mint, Sienna Glow and Golden Rouge
The new guest room designs for the Marriott Hotels & Resorts brand have a custom look and feel, offering owners and franchisees for the first time more choice and flexibility, but at the attractive price of a standard prototype. Using fresh, engaging color palettes, the new room décor packages also accomplish a key mandate for Marriott’s iconic brand – helping the “performance guest” work, relax and recharge for the day ahead.
“This year, Marriott is creating and deploying separate and distinct interior designs for three of its full-service brands: Marriott, JW and Renaissance brands,” said Don Semmler, executive vice president, global full-service brands, for Marriott International. “Our world-class internal design team, led by Teri Urovsky and Glenn Wilson, developed and executed each brand’s design strategies.”
Through the use of sophisticated 3-D modeling design visualization software, Marriott’s Architecture & Construction team was able to create interchangeable designs for three exciting and new Marriott Hotels & Resorts guest room styles that offer owners and franchisees options and flexibility, all within an approved and cost effective structure.
“We had two goals for these new décor packages,” said Brad Bryan, executive vice president, Marriott International’s Architecture & Construction department. “First, we needed to create a room environment that delivers on the Marriott Hotels & Resorts brand promise, ‘Tomorrow is a new opportunity to do something great,’ in which a good night’s sleep is vital and a comfortable, restful and functional room is critical. Our other goal was to design guest room décor concepts in record time and offer unprecedented flexibility to our owners. These three concepts offer literally hundreds of design combinations, and yet they will save approximately 20 percent from the cost generally associated with a custom project.”
Marriott’s A&C team based each package on design trend research in fashion, home furnishings and retail. Following are the three room décor packages now available for Marriott Hotels & Resorts guest rooms:
