Quality Inn Opens Near Key Michigan Cities |

HOWELL, Mich. (Dec. 23, 2002) - The 160-unit Quality Inn, located at 125 Holiday Lane (off exit 137 of I-96) and 40 minutes or less from Detroit, Flint, Lansing and Ann Arbor, is now open. |
The Quality Inn, formerly operated as the Ramada Inn, continues to be owned and operated by C. J. Inn, Inc.
A recent renovation of the Quality Inn updated the hotel's 4,000 square foot conference and convention center which includes a 2,000 square foot ballroom (up to 125 people), two connecting meeting rooms (up to 75 and 150 people) and two boardrooms (up to 12 people). A new chandelier and bar were added to the ballroom and movable walls were added to the meeting space. Future meeting space renovations will add new ceiling tiles, wallpaper, doors and furniture.
The Quality Inn features 160 guestrooms with a choice of one king or two double beds. Each room has a remote-control 25-inch cable TV with HBO, coffee maker, telephone with data port, iron, ironing board and hairdryer. Most rooms also have a microwave and refrigerator. Some rooms have Jacuzzi tubs. Four two-room suites include a living room with sofa bed, wetbar and separate bedroom with two double beds.
In addition, the hotel features the Quality Executive Room with its signature Quality Sleeper mattress by Serta, speakerphone with data port, 900-square-inch desk, bright lighting, easy-access electric outlets and easy chair. Non-smoking rooms and rooms for individuals with disabilities are available.
Hotel features include Lexie's Roadhouse, an on-site restaurant and lounge open from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. daily, an outdoor swimming pool, guest laundry and free parking. Audio visual and catering services are also available.
Guests of the Quality Inn receive a complimentary USA TODAY and a 100 percent guest satisfaction guarantee. A deluxe continental breakfast consisting of muffins, English muffins, bagels Danish pastry, cereal, toast, coffee, tea, milk and juice is served daily in the hotel's breakfast room.
A special promotional rate of $49.95 is available until the end of February 2003. Children, ages 18 and under, stay free in the room of parents and grandparents.
Discounts are available when booked in advance on a space-available basis for senior citizens, AAA members, business travelers, government/military personnel and groups.
The Quality Inn is one mile from historic downtown Howell and four miles from the Tanger Outlet Mall. The hotel is 40 minutes from Detroit, 30 minutes from Flint and 20 minutes from both Lansing and Ann Arbor.
