Steve Hymans Promoted To Senior Vice President Of Operations For Hawthorn
Hawthorn ATLANTA (Jan. 2, 2003) -- U.S. Franchise Systems has promoted Steve Hymans to Senior Vice President of Operations for the Hawthorn Suites hotel brand. In his new position, Hymans will be responsible for overseeing all of Hawthorn's operating and marketing functions including National Sales, Frequency Marketing, Franchise Services, Training, and Sales Support. He will report to Roy Flora, Senior Vice President of Franchise Operations.
"Steve is one of the most knowledgeable and experienced professionals in the extended-stay segment of the hotel industry," says Flora. "We are very fortunate to have him managing the health and direction of the brand."

Hymans joined USFS shortly after the company's inception in 1995 with an extensive background in the management of such extended-stay chains as Residence Inn and Summerfield Suites as well as a number of years in non extended-stay hotel operations.
