Kiwi Collection welcomes 10 new industry experts to its rapidly expanding team in Canada, the U.K., and Australia.
In the Hotel Review department, five new Regional Vice President positions have been created to ensure that Kiwi Collection always recommends only the finest and most unique properties worldwide. Through first-hand travel, this experienced team will maintain the integrity and quality of the collection, and further ensure that properties are always thoroughly rated and reviewed.
David Black — Regional VP Hotel Relations, The Americas. After several influential years in the hotel business, including four with Small Luxury Hotels of the World as Director of Business Development, David will bring his wealth of knowledge and superb relationships to the Americas team.
Sarah Glyde — Regional VP Hotel Relations, EMEA. Sarah delivers years of experience to Kiwi Collection, including 11 with Starwood, where she acted as Director of Luxury Sales for Starwood’s luxury brands.
Jim Haupt — Regional VP Hotel Relations, The Americas. Jim’s lengthy career in the hotel industry includes 13 years with The Andrew Harper Collection, where he served as Executive Director.
Daniel Szelenyi — Regional VP Hotel Relations, EMEA. Daniel has exceptional hotel experience in sales and marketing having been a part of the opening teams for the Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal, Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace in Budapest, and the Dolder Grand in Zurich.
Rene Vosslamber — Regional VP Hotel Relations, Asia Pacific. Rene brings both hotel industry and media experience including six years leading custom sections published in BusinessWeek, FORTUNE, and President Magazine.
In the Communications department, four key hires have been completed, adding stability, focus, and vision to Kiwi Collection's internal and external communications and marketing activities.
Doug Scrymgeour — VP Business Development. Doug brings a wealth of knowledge in business development, sales, and marketing from Intrawest, a world leader in destination resorts — better known by some of its marquee resorts such as Whistler Blackcomb and Tremblant.
Natalie Tsang — VP of Strategy. Natalie boasts over 13 years experience in the digital strategy arena. Most recently, she ran a strategy department consisting of 20 consultants at LBi, Europe’s largest and most-awarded digital agency.
Jackie Reid — VP of Project Services. Jackie, known for her keen focus on bottom-line results, offers 12 years of experience working in all areas of company operations including client services, customer support, technical operations, implementation management, and process improvement. Jackie has worked for companies such as
Marqui, Chancery Software and Discovery Software.
Ben Terrill – Product Manager. A long time advocate of the user, Ben brings 11 years experience in website planning, design, development, and management to Kiwi Collection. Prior to this new role, Ben served as development lead at Blast Radius, working on global brands such as Electronic Arts and Palm.
In the Editorial department, Kiwi Collection has managed to attract a talented and passionate leader to guide both style and content.
Jim Tobler — Editor-in-Chief of Wow Travel (Kiwi Collection’s Digital Travel and Lifestyle Magazine). Jim was formerly the editor of high-end Canadian magazines NUVO and Montecristo, and has also written for ZINK, Masion de la France, Wine Access, and The Globe and Mail.
