Choice Hotels International Opens 31 New Hotels in July

Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE: CHH) continues to grow with the announcement of 31 newly-opened franchised properties during the month of July. The openings include hotels in 11 states and five additional countries, adding more than 2,000 rooms to the company’s existing 490,000-plus rooms.

Select properties that opened in July include:

Chateau Moncton, an Ascend Collection Hotel – Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada This Ascend Collection hotel, located near the city center, offers complimentary deluxe continental breakfast, wireless high-speed Internet access, business center, weekday newspapers, fitness center, and banquet and meeting space. Guestrooms are furnished with flat-screen TVs, refrigerators, and more. Select rooms also have microwaves, robes and whirlpool bathtubs. Ascend Collection is a membership of historic, boutique and unique hotels that give guests an authentic experience, designed for travelers who appreciate an upscale hotel with a strong local identity.

Sleep Inn & Suites – Houston, Texas Located in downtown Houston, this Sleep Inn & Suites hotel is among the brand’s first to feature an entirely new refreshed modern look and feel, providing guests with a simply stylish and reliable stay. The property also offers free wireless high-speed Internet access, weekday newspapers, exercise room, business center and more. Each guestroom features microwaves and refrigerators while some rooms also have sleeper sofas.

MainStay Suites – Fort Myers, Fla This extended stay hotel features fully equipped kitchens, weekly housekeeping service, free continental breakfast, weekday newspaper and wireless high-speed Internet access. Additional amenities at this Fort Myers hotel include a manager's reception, outdoor heated pool, fitness center, on-site business center, convenience store, laundry facilities and spacious meeting rooms. Guestrooms feature kitchen facilities, pillow-top mattresses and sleeper sofas. This is a pet-friendly hotel.

Comfort Hotel Muenchen Sued – Ottobrunn, Germany Amenities include free wireless high-speed Internet access, weekday newspaper, exercise room, and sauna. The hotel contains an on-site restaurant and lounge. All guest rooms are furnished with hair dryers, spacious work desks and satellite television. This is a pet-friendly hotel.
