Hampton Inn & Suites and Hampton by Hilton Hotels, today announced that it opened 34 properties in the 2nd Quarter 2010, totaling more than 3,100 rooms. These openings included two international Hampton by Hiltons, one in the United Kingdom and another in Mexico.
According to Phil Cordell, global head, focused service & Hampton Hotels brand, “Our steady growth this quarter is a testament to Hampton’s stellar reputation in the mid-scale sector. We are living up to our ranking as the leading hotel franchise for financial strength, stability and growth rate.”
Also new to Hampton this quarter, all properties in the U.S., Canada and Latin America now offer freshly baked waffles as part of the brand’s free hot breakfast. The brands breakfast offering already includes a rotating menu of items such as eggs, sausages pancakes, biscuits and gravy, wraps with salsa, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt and more.
