  • Great Wolf Resorts Great Wolf Resorts Subsidiary Taps Technology Executive to Lead Strategy, Development

    Creative Kingdoms, LLC, a consolidated subsidiary of Great Wolf Resorts, Inc.® (NASDAQ: WOLF), North America’s leading family of indoor waterpark resorts, today announced that Luke Schneider has been appointed to the newly created position of chief executive officer. The company, which uses its proprietary technology to create experiential entertainment attractions, is the creator of MagiQuest®, a high-tech, interactive, role-play game available at nine Great Wolf Lodge® resorts, four freestanding locations in the United States, and two locations in Japan.

    In his role as CEO of Creative Kingdoms, Schneider will oversee all aspects of the company including strategy, operations, and business development. His responsibilities will include growing revenue, expanding product offerings, and management of the company’s extensive portfolio of intellectual properties.

    Before joining Creative Kingdoms, Schneider served as chief technology officer for Zipcar, where he led a strategy bridging web, wireless and mobile technologies, to launch the world's largest car-sharing company. He also served as general manager for Zipcar’s FastFleet division and in various roles for the company’s predecessor, Flexcar. Prior to Zipcar, Schneider held executive positions with a number of technology companies including Verticalnet, B2emarkets, and PRTM Management Consultants. He holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon's Tepper School of Business and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
