Hotel Brokers International, the leading sales organization of hotel brokers, honored its top-performing brokers, sales associates and brokerage offices of 2010 at an awards ceremony which was part of the organization’s 2011 Annual Meeting, held at the Palms Casino Resort, Las Vegas.
Teague Hunter, CHB, president, Hunter Realty Associates, Inc. received HBI’s highest honor—Broker of the Year. Hunter received this recognition of excellence in hotel real estate brokerage based on outstanding sales volume and participation in HBI programs and activities.
Kyle Stevenson, Hunter Realty Associates, Inc, received the HBI’s most prestigious award for a sales associate—Salesperson of the Year. This is Stevenson’s second straight year to receive this top individual sales honor.
HBI also honored the most successful brokers in each region. Brian Coakley of Donohoe Real Estate Services topped the U.S. Eastern Region. H. Brandt Niehaus, CHB, president of Huff, Niehaus & Associates, Inc. topped the U.S. Central Region. Fred F. Ferrarini, CHB, president of ProCom Lodging Brokers, Inc. topped the U.S. Mountain/Pacific Region.
HBI presented Regional Salesperson Awards to the most successful sales associates. Bill Moyer of Donohoe Real Estate Services won for the U.S. Eastern Region. Darin Brock, CHB, vice president of Brock Hotel Group, Inc. won for the U.S. Central Region. Steven Ferrarini, CHB, vice president of ProCom Lodging Brokers, Inc. won for the U.S. Mountain/Pacific Region.
HBI presented its New Associate of the Year Award to Gary Mills of Hunter Realty Associates, Inc. This recognition is awarded to the top-performing sales associate to have completed his/her first year with HBI.
Fred Ferrarini, ProCom Lodging Brokers and William Lazarus, Topher Real Estate Services shared honors for their respective companies’ involvement in the Most Co-op Sales.
Portfolio of the Year recognition was awarded to Bill Nugent, Nugent Hotel Brokers based on the merits of the transaction he structured for the disposition of three hotel properties for Supertel Hospitality LP.
William Moyer, Donohoe Real Estate Services was awarded recognition of Single Asset Sale of the Year for the sale of the 303 room Hilton College Station. Kyle Stevenson, Hunter Realty Associates received HBI’s Unique Deal of the Year Award for the distinctive sale of a 453-room transaction consisting of two adjoining hotels located in downtown Atlanta.
