San Diego, CA (March 13Feb. 20) – Trigild International, Inc., a subsidiary of AFM Hospitality Corporation (TSX:AFM), announced it has recently assumed management of Stovall’s Tahoe Inn located in South Lake Tahoe, CA. Trigild was retained by the lender-owner pursuant to a foreclosure action.
“The inn is charming and every guestroom has a fireplace.” statesd Judy HHoffman, Trigild Vice President of Marketing. “However, our takeover team was surprised to learn that there were no reservations on the books even though the Tahoe area is in the middle of its peak season. This discovery was especially alarming since the inn is a bit off the beaten track and has no franchise affiliation,” continues Hoffman. Trigild launched a hard-hitting marketing plan and two weeks later the inn had a sellout weekend, and continues to maintain strong occupancy and rate.
Trigild is a market leader in receivership and troubled property management having operated hundreds of special purpose assets like hotels, restaurants, and commercial properties during its 27 year history. Bill Hoffman, Trigild’s president, has served as Receiver for over 200 income properties including 100 hotels.
