Marriott Announces Plans to Open Residence Inn-Dulles Airport

    Lerner Enterprises, The Tower Companies and Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR) are pleased to announce plans to open a 175-suite Residence Inn by Marriott in Dulles, Loudoun County, Virginia. The hotel, to be known as Residence Inn-Dulles Airport, will be jointly developed by Lerner Enterprises and The Tower Companies, both of North Bethesda, Maryland and will be operated by Marriott International of Washington, D.C. Construction of the hotel is scheduled to begin in late 2003 with opening planned for late 2004. The Residence Inn-Dulles Airport is Lerner Enterprises' second hotel in the Dulles corridor. The company opened a 157 room Courtyard by Marriott at Dulles Town Center in Dulles, Virginia last year.

    Located three miles from Washington Dulles International Airport at Route 28 and Waxpool Road (Route 625) in Dulles 28 Centre, the Residence Inn-Dulles Airport is within minutes of Dulles' technology corridor and many area companies, including AOL Time Warner, EDS, Cisco Systems, Xerox and many others. The Residence Inn-Dulles Airport offers guests convenient access to the Washington Metropolitan Area's largest business, retail and leisure centers, including: Tysons Corner, Dulles Town Center, Reston Town Center, Leesburg and Washington, D.
