Steve Winter, vice president of operations for Outrigger Enterprises Group’s condominium division, is proud to announce the promotion of Sheila Gerbig-Hussey to general manager for the Outrigger Aina Nalu, Lahaina, Maui. Most recently she was the property’s assistant general manager, a position she has held since 2006.
A 17 year veteran with Outrigger Hotels & Resorts, Mrs. Gerbig-Hussey began her hospitality career as a front desk clerk at the Kihei Bay Vista and in less than a year, was promoted to front office manager at theOutrigger Napili Shores. Her previous work experience also includes working at the Outrigger Royal Kahana Resort, and as a director of revenue management with Outrigger’s corporate office. She returned to the condominium division and became owner liaison manager at the former OHANA Maui Islander, which was later renovated and transformed into the now Outrigger Aina Nalu.
“It’s great to have not only a familiar face but someone with a depth of experience overseeing the property operations,” said Steve Winter. “I know that Sheila will continue to strengthen the existing relationship with owners and foster a cooperative spirit within the rental program.”
