Delta Hotels Brands Fifth Property In Quebec |

TORONTO, April 16 /CNW/ - Delta Hotels announced today that the Hôtel
Radisson Québec, located in Quebec City, will be re-branded the Delta Québec, effective July 1, 2003.

"There is tremendous synergy with the Delta brand in the province of
Quebec, and Delta Québec will be an important addition to our city-centre
portfolio in the province," said John Pye, President, Delta Hotels. "We are
pleased that CHIP Hospitality has chosen Delta Hotels to help it establish an
even stronger position for this well-known property."
The Delta Québec becomes the fifth Delta property in the province. The
others are Delta Centre-Ville (Montreal), Delta Montréal, Delta Sherbrooke
Hotel and Conference Centre and Delta Trois Rivières Hotel and Conference
Centre.
Located steps away from Old Quebec, a UNESCO-designated World Heritage
Site in the heart of North America's only walled city, the Delta Québec is
linked directly to both the Quebec Convention Centre and the boutiques of
Place Québec. Only 20 minutes from Jean Lesage International Airport, this
pet-friendly hotel is also five minutes from the central train and bus
stations.
In 2002, more than $5.2 million was invested by CHIP Hospitality to
enhance guest rooms and meeting and convention space at this full-service
hotel. The Delta Québec has 377 rooms, including a split-level Presidential
Suite with sweeping views of the provincial Parliament buildings, 14 meeting
rooms, totalling 12,048 square feet and accommodating from 10 to 600
delegates, and a health club with massage rooms, whirlpool and saunas, and
also offers valet and concierge services. The meeting rooms are fully equipped
with state of-the-art equipment, including video conferencing and high-speed
Internet access.

The Delta Québec is the third Delta-franchised property managed by CHIP
Hospitality. The other two properties are Delta Montréal and Delta Edmonton
