Nancy A. Rocker Appointed GM Hotel Indigo in Downtown St. Petersburg

  • Hotel Indigo BayStar Hotel Group has appointed Nancy A. Rocker, CHA as the general manager (GM) of the Hotel Indigo – St. Petersburg Historic Downtown District.

    Rocker brings more than 20 years experience in hotel operations, sales, food and beverage, and HR to the position. Most recently she served as GM of the Suburban Extended Stay Hotel in Melbourne, Fla.  Since 2002 she held GM positions with several Orlando area hotels, including a Holiday Inn Express & Suites Quality Suites, Hawthorn Suites and Hyatt Place Orlando Universal.

    She holds a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) designation from the American Lodging Association and the ServSafe Manager Certification Food and Alcohol designation.

    Situated at 234 Third Avenue North in downtown St. Petersburg, the pet-friendly Hotel Indigo has 76 guest rooms and 2,200 square feet of meeting space along with a café offering breakfast, dinner and a full bar. An InterContinental Hotels Group boutique brand, the Hotel Indigo is within easy walking and biking distance of the shops, restaurants, performing arts venues, museums, and art galleries that earned St. Petersburg the number one ranking in AmericanStyle magazine’s annual survey of the nation’s top 25 arts destinations.  Like all of BayStar Hotel Group’s hotels, the Hotel Indigo is a member of the Florida Green Lodging program.
