  • Jones Lang LaSalle Gompel Transfers from European Post to Work with Florida Team

MIAMI, May 12, 2003 – Olivier Gompel of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels has transferred from Paris to Miami where he will work on hotel consulting and transaction projects in the Americas. Gompel first joined Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels in October 2000, working with the London valuations team before transferring to the Paris office, where he has focused primarily on valuation and advisory assignments in the French, Dutch and Belgian markets.

“The Miami team will profit from Olivier’s extensive European advisory experience,” noted Christian Charre, Vice President, Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels. “His broad knowledge of trophy properties like the Marriott Champs-Elysées; Radisson SAS Brussels; Four Seasons George V, Paris; Plaza Athénée, Paris; and the Cannes Beach Résidence, should translate well into Florida’s luxury segment.”

Gompel has completed portfolio valuation assignments for City Hotels (France, Belgium), LaSalle Investment Management’s portfolio of Club Med villages in Southern Europe, Queens Moat Houses (Bilderberg chain in the Netherlands) and the CTF/HPI portfolio of Courtyard by Marriott, Ramada and Renaissance hotels in Germany and Swizterland.

In 2000, Gompel earned an MBA in International Hospitality Management from IMHI Cornell-ESSEC, where he ranked among the top three students in his class.
