(External -BLOOMBERG NEWS) Trust Says Company Owes Rent on 24 Hotels
Hospitality Properties Trust, a hotel owner, said that the Prime Hospitality Corporation failed to pay rent due on Tuesday for 24 AmeriSuites hotels that Prime Hospitality manages for it.
The rent due from Prime Hospitality is $1.98 million a month, Hospitality Properties said. The hotels, which are leased to a unit of Prime Hospitality, are in 14 states.
