Golden Tulip Hotels, Inns & Resorts announces the expansion of its Central European portfolio through the franchise of the Tulip Inn Prague Terminus.
The 67-room Hotel, a former apartment building, will open its doors as the Tulip Inn Prague Terminus in September 2003. The hotel is located at Hybernska 42, ideally situated in the historical city centre and business district. The Hotel was originally built in 1884 by the famous Czech Architect František Heberle in Art Nouveau style and is within walking distance from the Charles Bridge, Powder Tower, Municipal House, Wenceslas Square and the Old Town Square. The hotel, which is currently completing an extensive remodelling period, will soon be equipped with the latest modern standards for both business and leisure travellers.
With this new addition the current Golden Tulip portfolio comprises 3 hotels in the Czech Republic, two Golden Tulip hotels and 1 Tulip Inn. Together they combine more than 500 rooms in the Czech capital.
