Comfort Suites In Tyler, Texas Celebrates Grand Opening |

TYLER, Texas (July 29, 2003) - The media is invited to attend a grand opening ceremony for a new Comfort Suites hotel on Tuesday, Aug. 5 from 5 – 7 p.m. at 303 Rieck Road. A ribbon cutting, tours of the hotel and refreshments will be included in the festivities. Chamber of Commerce members and local civic leaders are expected to attend. |
The Comfort Suites at South Broadway Mall features 65 suites with king- or queen-size beds. All suites feature a microwave, refrigerator, wetbar, 32-inch remote-controlled cable television, work desk with ergonomic chair, computer data port with free high-speed Internet access, coffee maker, iron, ironing board, hairdryer and pull-out sleeper sofa bed.
The hotel also features suites with a whirlpool tub, two bedroom suites and suites with a fully equipped kitchen. Handicapped and non-smoking suites are available.
Owned and operated by Broadway Lodging of Longview, Texas, the Comfort Suites at South Broadway Mall features a heated indoor pool and whirlpool; business center equipped with a computer with high-speed Internet access, facsimile machine and copier; a 1,200 square-foot meeting room; 400 square-foot executive board room; exercise facility with treadmill, stair-stepper and stationary bike; and breakfast area that can seat up to 45 people.
Rates begin at $75 and includes a complimentary deluxe continental breakfast, complimentary USA TODAY newspaper, free local telephone calls and 100 percent guest satisfaction guarantee.
Discounts are available when booked in advance for seniors, American Automobile Association members, business travelers, government and military personnel and groups.
The Comfort Suites at South Broadway Mall is located close to Harvey Convention Center, Tyler Rose Gardens and Caldwell Zoo. Several restaurants and shops are also nearby.
