Interstate Hotels & Resorts Adds Three New York Properties to Management Portfolio

ARLINGTON, Va. Sept. 10, 2003 Interstate Hotels & Resorts (NYSE:IHR), the nation's largest independent hotel management company, today announced that it had added three New York properties comprising 504 rooms to its portfolio of managed properties.
The company said it signed a long-term contract to manage the 183-room Crowne Plaza Hotel-JFK Airport, formerly the JFK Sheraton, at the JFK International Airport in Jamaica, New York. The company also entered into long-term agreements to manage two, to-be-built hotels in Melville, N.Y. -- a 147-room Homewood Suites by Hilton and a 174-room Hilton Garden Inn.
