Choice Hotels Names National Director Of Franchising For Sleep Inn Brand

  • Choice Hotels SILVER SPRING, Md. (Sept. 10, 2003) -- Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE:CHH) announced that Brad LeBlanc has been named national director of franchising for the Sleep Inn brand. In his new position, LeBlanc is responsible for promoting the growth of the Sleep Inn brand with developers across the continental U.S.

    This appointment marks LeBlanc’s second tenure at Choice Hotels. From 1990 to 1995, LeBlanc was director franchise sales and development for the company and was rewarded for his sales excellence in 1992, 1993 and 1994.

    “We’re delighted to welcome Brad back to the Choice Hotels family,” said David Pepper, vice president, franchise sales and the executive to whom LeBlanc reports in his new position. “By putting a seasoned professional in charge of our Sleep Inn growth efforts, we are signaling our strong belief in this brand’s ability to maximize profitability for developers. Brad knows the marketplace, he knows the company – and most importantly, he knows the profit potential represented by Sleep Inn.”

    LeBlanc holds a bachelor of science degree in management information systems from Louisiana College.
