Homewood Suites by Hilton Opens in Manchester, New Hampshire |

MEMPHIS, Tenn. Sept. 30, 2003 Homewood Suites by Hilton(R), the national brand of upscale all-suite, residential-style hotels, today announced the opening of the 124-suite Homewood Suites by Hilton hotel in Manchester. The Homewood Suites by Hilton Manchester-Airport is owned by Kilbride, LLC and managed by Colwen Management. |
The newly constructed hotel represents another addition to the growing roster of the more than 125 Homewood Suites by Hilton hotels.
"The Manchester area has been in great need for additional upscale hotels that cater to guests staying five or more consecutive nights," said J. Pierre Lamarre, the hotel's general manager.
"Our facility has been created specifically to meet the needs of travelers who stay at a hotel for an extended amount of time and who may require specialized services and amenities, such as an executive business center, complimentary high-speed Internet access and a grocery shopping service(a) by the hotel," he added. "Also, our proximity to the airport and complimentary shuttle service makes us a perfect fit for business travelers."
The four-story Homewood Suites by Hilton Manchester-Airport features residential-style studio, one- and two-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens and spacious sleeping and living areas that are large enough for work, study, entertaining or relaxing.
Other attractive guest amenities include a daily complimentary hot breakfast buffet in the hotel's hospitality center, called the "Lodge," an evening Manager's Reception(b) Monday through Thursday with a complimentary light meal and beverages, exercise facilities and a 24-hour on-site Suite Shop(R) convenience store. Complimentary high-speed Internet access is available in all guest suites.
Additional hotel amenities include an indoor pool, whirlpool, on-demand videos, and a sports court and picnic area. The hotel also features more than 600 square feet of meeting space. Each suite of the hotel has a fully equipped kitchen, featuring a microwave oven, full-size refrigerator, twin-burner stove, dishwasher and all the necessary pots, pans and utensils. Guest suites also feature a remote- controlled television, an iron/ironing board, and two telephones with dual lines.
The Homewood Suites by Hilton Manchester-Airport's address is: 1000 Perimeter Road, Manchester, N.H.. The hotel is located within the Manchester Airport and is one mile from the Mall of New Hampshire. It is also located just twenty minutes from the Massachusetts border, and less than a hour's drive from the region's most popular ski areas, beaches and lakefront resorts.
