CANCUN, MEXICO (OCTOBER 1, 2003)- Presidente InterContinental Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Carlos Sanchez Caballero as the Director of Sales for the award-winning Presidente InterContinental Cancun Resort. In his new position, Mr. Sanchez Caballero will be responsible for national and international sales.
Mr. Sanchez Caballero began his career in 1992 in Barcelona, where he worked with the Ritz Carlton and the Disneyland Cooperation, specifically in the fields of sales, reservations, and concierge. Most recently, Mr. Sanchez Caballero was the Director of International Sales for InterContinental Barcelona.
Mr. Sanchez Caballero graduated from the Centro de Estudios Técnicos Turísticos de Barcelona, as well as the Universidad Abierta de Cataluña, where he graduated with a degree in Marketing. Mr. Sanchez Caballero is fluent in several languages including English, Spanish, French, Italian and Catalán.
