The Inverness pentahotel, the fourth of penta group’s UK hotels and its first in Scotland, opened March 21st. With its 90 guest rooms and an array of features that set it apart from every other hotel, pentahotel Inverness guarantees an experience unlike any other.
It begins with the first moment the guest steps inside. They are greeted warmly in the pentalounge, the beating heart of every pentahotel worldwide. Where you would normally expect to see an ordinary reception desk, penta thinks differently. From the pool table to the Sony PlayStation to the fact that you can check in at the bar as you enjoy a cocktail, a hundred details – little and large – mark penta out as something different.
The beautiful central design of the pentalounge and the sumptuous lighting plan – by Italian star architect Mattheo Thun – ensure that the guests’ relaxation is 100%. Is this a cool club or a traditional hotel lobby? It’s neither, because it’s penta. In every way – perfect for the weary business traveller, with standard comforts including free & premium Wi-Fi, 42\" flatscreen TV and free subscription TV, including free Movies on demand and Sports channels.
In 2013/14 pentahotels grew faster than ever. Under the umbrella of the hotel management company the Rosewood Hotel Group, headquartered in Hong Kong, pentahotels is expanding its portfolio by more than 50% from 2,925 rooms to 4,984 worldwide. 80 new sites are planed until 2020.
Launched in Europe, pentahotels is a design-led, neighbourhood lifestyle brand providing independent travellers with comfort and style in a contemporary environment. The brand is represented by 22 hotels in Europe and Asia, with eight more properties opening by the end of 2015 and a target of 80 pentahotels in operation or under development globally by 2020. Pentalounge, a combined lobby, reception, bar and café – designed as a lively gathering place for hotel guests and local patrons alike – is a pentahotels hallmark.
