Hampton by Hilton is scheduled to open its first hotel in the Polish city of Wroclaw, following an agreement which marks the continued expansion of the focused service brand across Europe. The 100-room Hampton by Hilton Wroclaw City Center West is expected to open in 2015, and will operate under a franchise agreement between Hilton Worldwide and owner Wroclaw City Center West Sp. z o.o., which is part of the West Real Estate S.A. capital group.
The newly built property will be situated in the centre of Wroclaw, Poland's fourth largest city, and will join 18 Hilton Worldwide hotels currently operating or under development in Poland. Later this year, Hampton by Hilton will open its largest European hotel in Poland - Hampton by Hilton Warsaw City Centre.
Phil Cordell, global head, focused service and Hampton brand management, said, "Hampton by Hilton has enjoyed considerable success in Europe since it was introduced less than 10 years ago and Hampton by Hilton Wroclaw City Centre West will be an excellent addition to our portfolio. Wroclaw is an established business and leisure destination, and we're looking forward to bringing our signature, friendly service to the city."
Hampton by Hilton hotels offers comfortable mid-market accommodation, incorporating the Clean and Fresh Hampton Bed®, and a warm welcome, epitomized by the 100% Hampton Guarantee. A complimentary breakfast will be available to every guest, in addition to Wi-Fi access throughout the hotel. Plans for the hotel include a fitness centre, business area and a number of meeting rooms to cater for corporate customers.
Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president, development, Europe & Africa, Hilton Worldwide said, "The Poland hotel development market has matured and offers robust trading fundamentals, capturing the attention of both domestic and international investors. The signing of Hampton by Hilton Wroclaw City Centre West, our 18th in Poland, is testament to our ongoing commitment to one of Central and Eastern Europe's most promising markets."
