InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) [LON: IHG, NYSE: IHG] announced the opening of the Holiday Inn Resort Bar Harbor Regency. This resort is located one mile from downtown Bar Harbor, Maine has a marina and lobster pond on-site and boasts stunning views of the Frenchman’s Bay.

The Holiday Inn Resort Bar Harbor is located at 123 Eden Street and in walking distance to Acadia National Park and close to the College of Atlantic. The 280-room resort includes four floors, and features KidSuites® Rooms which are unique rooms within a guestroom designed specifically with kids in mind to include bunk beds, themed décor and a TV with electronic video games. The resort has a well-equipped fitness center, business center, game room, tennis court and 4,000 sq. feet of meeting space, as well as an outdoor pool with pool bar, hot tub and a Kids Club, an activity program for the whole family offering free on-site activities. On-site activities include searching for tidal pools, sea glass and sea creatures. Guests can also enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at the property’s on-site restaurant.
