Webster to Manage New Baymont Inn & Suites Hotel |
|
MILWAUKEE, WIS. (OCTOBER 15, 2003) Baymont Inns & Suites announces the appointment of Robert Webster as the general manager of the new Baymont Inn & Suites, currently under construction in Ontario, Calif., and is the chain’s first in the state of California. |
Prior to joining Baymont Inn & Suites, Webster served as general manager for several Innwest Hospitality Corp. hotels in Scottsdale, Ariz., and has more than 20 years of serving as general manager.
“As a seasoned general manager, Robert provides the experience needed to manage a new hotel in a new marketplace,” said Joy Trent, vice president and new hotel operations specialist for Baymont Inns & Suites. “Not only does Robert have a strong understanding of how to successfully operate a hotel, but he also has a proven ability to develop, nurture and sustain strong operational results.”
Webster will manage the new 105-room Baymont Inn & Suites, located at Interstates 10 and 15 and adjacent to Ontario Mills Mall. The new hotel will have high-speed Internet access available in every guestroom, and offers an outdoor pool, meeting facility, state-of-the-art fitness center and business center to its guests.
“I was drawn to the Ontario Baymont Inns & Suites because I know there is a strong consumer demand for midscale options here,” Webster said. “Even in a slowed economy, Ontario remains a strong travel market.”
The Ontario Baymont Inn & Suites is scheduled to open on October 17, 2003.
