Homewood Suites by Hilton, Hilton Worldwide's international brand of upscale, all-suite, extended stay hotels, announced today the opening of its newest property, Homewood Suites by Hilton Charlottesville, VA.
The four-story hotel is the first Homewood Suites property in the Charlottesville area and features 150 suites. The hotel is owned by Albemarle Suites, LLC, and managed by Heritage Hospitality Management, Inc. Tim Fitzgerald, general manager, and Amber Kemper, director of sales, have been in the hotel industry for a combined 45 years.

The hotel is located at 2036 India Drive, Charlottesville, Va., and within walking distance to Seminole Square Shopping Center and the shops at Stonefield. The Fashion Square Mall which offers guests convenient shopping, dining and entertainment is also located within close proximity. The University of Virginia is located less than a mile from the hotel. The historic Downtown Mall, one of the longest pedestrian malls in the United States, is only a short drive, and other nearby attractions include: the Discovery Museum, James Monroe's estate, Ash Lawn–Highland, and Monticello the home of Thomas Jefferson.
