Caribbean Travel Marketplace Early Bird Registration Opens

Region's Most Important Marketing Event Slated Jan. 28-30, 2015 at Puerto Rico Convention Center

Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) is offering Early Bird registration for Caribbean Travel Marketplace 2015 through Sept. 4, 2014 with supplier registration packages starting at $1,339 for a small booth and one delegate and buyer registration starting at US$299 per person.  Puerto Rico is host for the region's largest and most important marketing event with Caribbean Travel Marketplace scheduled Jan. 28-30, 2015 at the Puerto Rico Convention Center in San Juan.

Representatives from CHTA-member hotels, destinations, attractions and transportation companies who attend Caribbean Travel Marketplace are afforded the opportunity to meet face-to-face with international wholesalers selling Caribbean vacation travel.  In 2014, buyer companies from 20 countries (Argentina, Bahamas, Barbados, Canada, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, Poland, Russia, Spain, United Kingdom and United States) attended Caribbean Travel Marketplace where they participated in 12,000 appointments with Caribbean hoteliers, destinations and attractions.

Early bird supplier registration packages start at $1,339 for a small booth (6 ft. x 8 ft. space) with one delegate and appointment schedule.  A large booth (8 ft. x 8 ft. space) is $2,568 and includes two delegates and two appointment schedules.  The mega booth (10 ft. x 8 ft. space) is $2,868 and includes two delegates and two appointment schedules.  Hotels with 75 rooms or less and attractions can take advantage of the shared booth option (6 ft. x 8 ft. space shared by two companies) at $939 per company, which includes one delegate and appointment schedule each.  All registration fees quoted are available until Sept. 4, 2014.

Buyer registration is $299 per person (after the third buyer delegate, the fee is reduced to $129 per additional delegate) and includes pre-scheduled appointments (if registration is received before Dec. 19, 2014), listing in the electronic Delegate Directory, opening cocktail reception, closing dinner, coffee breaks, entrance to all business and social functions, roundtrip airport/hotel transfers and shuttle bus service between host hotels and the Puerto Rico Convention Center.

If a log-in code or password is lost or forgotten, there is a feature located on the registration page which can assist delegates with accessing registered accounts.

Caribbean Travel Marketplace is attended annually by more than 1,200 delegates including international tour operator and wholesale companies as well as representatives from Caribbean hotels, destinations, attractions and transportation companies.

In addition to CHTA, the Puerto Rico Destination Team, comprised of the Puerto Rico Hotel & Tourism Association (PRHTA), the Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC) and Meet Puerto Rico, will organize Caribbean Travel Marketplace along with host sponsors and Strategic Partners Interval International, MasterCard and TravelZoo.
