ATLANTA, GA (November 19, 2003) – InterContinental Hotels Group [LON: IHG, NYSE: IHG (ADRs)], the world's most global hotel company, has named Karmetria Dunham, diversity supply chain manager, the Americas.
In her position Dunham is responsible for developing a supplier diversity program for InterContinental Hotels Group. A key component of this program will be to strengthen the network of diverse suppliers by enhancing the ability of minority- and women-owned businesses (MWBEs) to be an integral part of the company's supplier system. Dunham reports directly to Jerome Miller, vice president and chief diversity officer, the Americas for InterContinental Hotels Group.
Previously, Dunham served as supply chain manager for BellSouth, where she was responsible for purchasing advertising and marketing services for the company. Before that, she worked for Xerox in the global purchasing department and was responsible for acquiring global components for the final building of Xerox machines. Dunham started her career with Union Pacific Railroad in marketing and human resources.

Dunham earned her bachelor's degree in marketing from Southern University-Baton Rouge and master's degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska.
