Panama counts already with two hotels operated by Barceló Hotels & Resorts. The Barceló Playa Blanca Resort & Casino, located in Playa Blanca, Farallon, on the pacific part of the country within a privileged environment which offers numerous possibilities for sports and leisure activities, has been inaugurated recently.
This new establishment, situated in front of the beach with a view to the Farallon Islands, the 219 rooms, 12 of them "junior suites", counts with all facilities a 5-star-hotel can offer. Barceló is operating this establishment under management contract.
Amongst the additional facilities it is worthwhile to point out the two restaurants (one 'a la carte' and a buffet-styled one), the three swimming pools, wide areas for sport and nautical activities, two bars, miniclub and children's play ground, disco, hairdresser, jacuzzi, a jeweller's and a souvenir shop, also there are show and entertainment programmes during the clients' stay.
It is also foreseen to receive meetings and small incentive groups, as there is a convention hall with capacity for 200 people.
The Barceló Playa Blanca Hotel will follow the "Barceló All Inclusive" programme, which is one of the most complete within Latin America and the Caribbean.
It is situated one and a half hours away from the Panamanian capital city, as well as from the international airport.
The Barceló Playa Blanca Resort & Casino is the second one of our group in this country, as last year we took also under management the under management the Barceló Guayacanes Hotel, located in Chitré.
