Holiday Inn Draws up New Partnership with Cartoon Network |

Holiday Inn has signed a partnership deal with Cartoon Network to drive its positioning within the family market. The venture will work to raise awareness of the hotel's leisure offering, driving both loyalty and trial. |
The two year agreement will distribute the Cartoon Network channel in the bedrooms of over 100 Holiday Inn hotels across UK and Ireland. The partnership will be extended throughout each hotel with Cartoon Network characters featured on posters, key cards, brochures and family fact sheets. A free children's goodie pack will also be provided upon arrival, containing a 52 page comic, postcard to send to a friend, stickers, a door hanger, badge, crayons and balloons.
Richard Hartman, Managing Director of the Europe, Middle East & Africa region at InterContinental Hotels Group says: "The Holiday Inn brand is synonymous with family breaks. From when it was established in 1952 and being the first brand to introduce free stay and meals for children, we have continued to drive our family offering. Parents want to know, not only that a hotel provides a family friendly environment, but also that it can offer something extra for the children. We believe that this new partnership with such a high profile kids' channel will complete the family entertainment experience across the Holiday Inn portfolio in the UK."
Richard Kilgarriff, Head of Cartoon Network adds; "Cartoon Network is the most popular kids' channel so it's great news for fans of our world famous characters that they can now go on holiday with them."
The Holiday Inn and Cartoon Network partnership will be supported by print advertising, direct mail, in-hotel collateral and via the internet. Holiday Inn also offers a variety of leisure break family packages, supported throughout the year by a dedicated brochure and national advertising campaigns.
