A Bavarian Christmas: The Palace hotel in Munich is offering a three-night package that includes a welcome holiday punch, a Christmas gift and a traditional Bavarian veal sausage breakfast at the Spatenhaus near the Opera. Guests also enjoy complimentary use of the hotel's sauna and fitness facilities. The offer is valid from December 20, 2003 to January 11, 2004, and starts at 440 Euros.
La dolce vita: The Grand Hotel Terme Trieste & Victoria in Abano Terme is offering a package full of Italian holiday tradition. It includes three nights' accommodations, full board, and access to the hotel's own thermal spa or fitness center. Organized excursions let visitors explore local festivities, including the international manger exhibition in Verona's Arena, or the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains. A festive dinner will be served on Christmas Eve. The package price starts at 419 Euros.
Irish Christmas at the Davenport Hotel in Dublin includes a traditional Christmas Eve celebration, complete with mulled wine and delicious Christmas pastries. Carolers provide a festive background for a four-course dinner served at Lanyons Restaurant. A champagne breakfast typical of the region is served and Santa pays a surprise visit on December 25th. Later, guests are treated to an eventful evening including a gala buffet dinner, entertainment and dancing. On the second day of Christmas, visitors are served an Irish breakfast to prepare them for an exciting day at the traditional horse races held in Leopard's Town. This three-day package is available from 657 Euros in a single room. Guests may also opt for a two-day Christmas package from 495 Euros.
According to an old saying, the way you celebrate New Year's Eve will determine how you spend your entire new year. If this is the case, the guests of the Husa Princessa in Madrid will enjoy a lovely and exciting 2004. Visitors experience the arrival of the new year from a bird's-eye perspective during a 15-minute helicopter ride. The New Year´s Eve Package also includes a one-night stay, a buffet breakfast, welcome gift, drink at the Piano Bar and complimentary use of the Health Club. Rates start at 313 Euros in a single and 430 Euros in a double room.
Portugal's Algarve is renowned for Fado and rich port wine. For New Year's Eve, the Algarve Casino hotel is a haven for gourmets with an array of culinary delights: the three-day package for two includes a buffet breakfast, a bottle of Portuguese sparkling wine as a welcome gift, a New Year's cocktail, and dinner at the well-loved local restaurant Amendoeiras. The package is available from 640 Euros for two New Year's guests.
