Paul Bachinger Named Director, Catering And Event Management For Mystic Marriott Hotel And Spa |

Paul Bachinger has been named director of catering and event management at the Mystic Marriott Hotel and Spa. The announcement was made by William Munro, the property's new general manager. |
"Paul Bachinger has proven himself to be extremely talented and committed, and we are delighted to be able to offer him a position of added responsibility. We look forward to his successful efforts in maintaining and enhancing the hotel's premier position as the ideal place in Connecticut for meetings and memorable events," Munro said.
Prior to joining the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa, Bachinger was director of conference services at the Providence Biltmore Hotel in Rhode Island for seven years. Before that, he was catering sales manager for the Sheraton Tara Hotel in Warwick, RI. Bachinger began his career in 1986 at the Providence Marriott in catering, and quickly received a promotion to service/banquet manager for both the Providence Marriott and the Westborough Marriott in Westborough, MA.
Bachinger received his education at the University of Rhode Island and the Community College of Rhode Island.
