Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis Downtown Opens in the Historic Fletcher Trust Building in Indiana |

Hilton Hotels Corporation and First Hospitality Group (FHG), Inc. announced the opening of the Hilton Garden Inn(R) Indianapolis Downtown located in the landmark Fletcher Trust Building. |
The hotel is located in the heart of the financial district at 10 E. Market St. in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Built in 1915, the hotel features a historically restored three-story atrium of marble floors and walls with classic columns architects created at that time for the bank.
First Hospitality Group, Inc., owns and manages the newly constructed Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis Downtown, under a franchise license agreement with Hilton Inns, Inc., the franchise subsidiary of Beverly Hills-based Hilton Hotels Corporation.

"Our hotels located throughout North America are uniquely designed to meet the needs of travelers seeking quality accommodations at affordable prices."
Situated in the historic Fletcher Trust Building, the hotel opening caps a year-long, $26 million renovation to the 16-story edifice. "This building has long been considered an important structure in Indianapolis and will make an important contribution to downtown's business travel, convention and tourism industry," said FHG President Robert Habeeb. "This vital renovation and its upgrade to the Hilton Garden Inn brand name represents our long-term commitment to keep in step with the rejuvenation of the downtown area made possible by many government and civic organizations."
Habeeb also gave high praise to the City of Indianapolis, the Indianapolis Convention & Visitors Association, Indianapolis Downtown, Inc., the Indianapolis Historical Society and the Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce for their foresight and assistance in the rejuvenation of Indianapolis' vibrant, historic and attractive downtown area. "We are grateful for their assistance and are proud to be a part of this great community," stated Habeeb.
The hotel remodeling included making the hotel the most technologically advanced in Indianapolis with the addition of complimentary WiFi wireless Internet access. Guests can use their laptops without being tethered to a phone line in virtually every area of the hotel including the lobby area, restaurant, meeting rooms and in their guest room.
The Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis Downtown features: a signature glass-walled pavilion housing the reception desk; 180 deluxe guestrooms, including 12 suites; a Pavilion Pantry(R) with a selection of refrigerated, frozen and microwaveable packaged items, and sundries; the Great American Grill(R) restaurant, offering freshly prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner; room service during dinner hours; a comfortable lounge area with a television and fireplace; a 24-hour, complimentary business center; and an on-site guest laundry facility.
For business travelers, the hotel offers nine meeting rooms with more than 4,500 square feet of flexible function space on the second and third level of the hotel that includes the Fletcher Trust Boardroom featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, a VIP permanent hardwood conference table and leather high-back executive chairs. All meeting rooms have built-in sound systems, T-1 telephone lines and high-speed Internet access. Complete audio-visual services are available.
Guest room accommodations and features include: a hospitality center with a microwave oven, coffee maker and mini refrigerator; a sitting area with an easy chair and ottoman; a hairdryer; and an iron and ironing board. In-room entertainment and information services include on-demand movies, video games and interactive Hilton guest services.
Business-oriented features of the guest rooms include: complimentary high speed Internet access; a spacious work desk with a pull-out shelf for a laptop computer; adjustable lighting; an ergonomic chair; electrical outlets at desk height; and two telephones equipped with two lines, data ports and voice mail. Recreational facilities consist of a fitness room, indoor swimming pool and whirlpool.
