New Hilton Garden Inn Opens in Westbury, New York |
|
Hilton Hotels Corporation announced today the opening of the 140-room Hilton Garden Inn(R) Westbury in Westbury, New York. |
"We are excited to open the Hilton Garden Inn Westbury in New York," said Adrian Kurre, senior vice president -- brand management, Hilton Garden Inn. "We hope that when business and leisure travelers experience a Hilton Garden Inn hotel, we will become their mid-priced lodging choice throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico."
Apple Hospitality owns the newly-constructed Hilton Garden Inn Westbury which operates under a franchise license agreement with Hilton Inns, Inc., the franchising subsidiary of Beverly Hills-based Hilton Hotels Corporation.
"Apple Hospitality is a valued partner and quality hotel owner that shares our goal of providing an exceptional stay experience to our guests," said Rick Schultz, senior vice president -- focused service division, Hilton Hotels Corporation. The Focused Service division of Hilton Hotels Corporation manages more than 80 hotels in the U.S. carrying the Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites by Hilton brands.
A four-story structure, the Hilton Garden Inn Westbury features: a signature glass-walled pavilion housing the reception desk; a Pavilion Pantry(R) with a selection of refrigerated, frozen and microwaveable packaged items, and sundries; the Great American Grill(R) restaurant offering freshly prepared breakfast; room service available during dinner hours; a comfortable lounge area with a television and fireplace; a boardroom and 1,200 square feet of flexible meeting space; a 24-hour, complimentary business center; and an on-site guest laundry.
Guestroom accommodations and features include: a hospitality center with a microwave oven, coffee maker and mini refrigerator; a sitting area with an easy chair; a hairdryer; and an iron and ironing board. In-room entertainment and information services include video-on-demand movies, video games and interactive Hilton guest services. The hotel also offers five spacious two-room suites, in addition to three whirlpool suites and four business suites.
Business-oriented features of the guestrooms include: complimentary high-speed Internet access; a spacious work desk with a pull-out shelf for a laptop computer; adjustable lighting; an ergonomic chair; electrical outlets at desk height; and two telephones equipped with two lines, data ports and voice mail.
Recreational facilities consist of a fitness room and indoor heated swimming pool.
