NH Hoteles is continuing to strengthen its position in the Netherlands and has now signed a lease contract for a new hotel in The Hague, designed for the business traveller.
This hotel, together with the purchase of the Dutch hotel chain Krasnapolsky in July 2000, will bring the number of NH hotels in The Netherlands up to 29.
The NH Den Haag is the first hotel to be opened by the chain in The Hague. It will be part of the Prinsenhof complex, built by BPF Bouwinvest, in the Beatrixkwartier, a modern business district. The hotel will be well connected and easy to reach. It will be a 4-star hotel with 206 rooms and a total surface of 10.650 m2.. The rooms will provide all facilities and comfort that is so typical of NH Hotels, such as: Wi-Fi Technology, satellite TV, à la carte pillows, hair dryer, bath kit, video games, safe-deposit box, pay TV and air conditioning.
NH Hoteles will operate the hotel on a lease basis for 25 years. Opening is planned for July 2005.
