The new hotel will be located in the old city centre of Puebla
The company will then have 18 hotels in Mexico
The hotel is expected to become operational by the end of 2004
NH Hotels has once again shown its commitment in Mexico as it is going to continue its expansion plans and will build a new hotel designed for business travellers in the city of Puebla. This hotel means that the chain, which currently operates fifteen hotels and has three projects in progress, is reaffirming its plans to continue to expand in Mexico.
This new hotel will be located in an old office building in the old city centre of Puebla. The 124 rooms will provide facilities with all the comfort that is a standard feature of NH Hotels, such as: separate phone line for modems, satellite dish, à la carte pillows, hair dryer, free bath kit, piped music, video games, safe-deposit box, pay films and air conditioning. The new building shall also have 300 m2 for meeting rooms, a restaurant, bar-cafeteria and 126 parking spaces.
The hotel will involve an investment of around 8 million dollars and is expected to open for business by the end of 2004. The NH Puebla will not require any monetary outlay on the part of NH Hotels, the Spanish chain will however be responsible for running the hotel.
NH Hotels prides itself on the care it puts into decoration, cuisine and technology. These hotels are designed especially so that business customers can work as if they were in their office and relax as if they were at home.
NH Hotels takes particular care over its cuisine. The company works jointly with Ferran Adrià, one of the most highly regarded restaurant operators in Europe, with three Michelin stars, to create and implement new restaurant concepts in the chain. Taking all its collaborators together, the chain has 11 Michelin stars.
